Education is powerful

Nature’s future is our children’s future. Our classrooms today have a particularly challenging task - in addition of shaping our next leaders, scientists, innovators, artists and creators, educators need to adapt content to address the growing climate change crisis in a solution-driven manner. They do all this while nurturing students’ curiosity and talents, and sometimes through newly adapted virtual platforms. We are working to make science real, tangible, fun, and relatable, for everyone.

  • Tourists standing on a boardwalk observing a steaming geothermal area in a national park.

A two-day summer camp with hands-on scientific exploration

  • Children observing a plant with a magnifier while studying outdoors.

Driving question: "How do multiple lenses help us better understand the interconectedness of an ecosystem?"

  • A teacher assisting a student using a microscope in a classroom.

Multiple experts (biology, chemistry, geology, zoology, botany) came together to provide engaging science

  • Group of children at an outdoor picnic table in a forest setting, looking at a notebook, with trees and a river in the background.

Combining science and art to increase appreciation for nature and encourage curiosity for exploration

Experiences matter.

We are working on translating this educational field experience into an easy-to-follow and translatable format that educators can adapt to their own classrooms and local ecosystems. This work is completed in collaboration with rockstar educator Sharee Barton and an amazing team of volunteer experts, parents and educators.
